"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." ~Margaret Mead
Robin Trout, Sacred Service Coordinator
Meet Robin, our Sacred Service Coordinator. "Serving on a team is a great way to meet new friends, develop new skills and to become a part of this loving community", says Robin. "We are dedicated to being a ‘no burn-out’ zone so insist that each individual serve only as often as works for them and serve in some area that speaks to the heart."
If you are interested in any of these opportunities, please call, send us an email, or see Robin on Sunday morning.
We have a great team who works our sound board and video media during our Sunday morning (8am-12:15pm) and Wednesday night (6pm-8:15pm) services, as well as for special events, workshops and concerts. If you love working with AV technology or would like to learn a new skill, we would love to hear from you. No previous experience required – just the ability to stay focused. Training included.
The Hospitality Team is responsible for setup and cleanup after our Community Potlucks, which are held once a month, as well as provide hospitality for special services and events. This team lovingly keeps the kitchen and fellowship hall stocked, clean and conscious.
This team reports @ 8am to help set up the sanctuary for service, make coffee, put out the signs, set up the visitor’s table, and provide a loving and enthusiastic space for our Sunday morning services held at 8:45am and 10:45am (meditation 10am). This team is also responsible for restoring the space after services at 12:15pm
This team begins every Sunday by staffing our 1st time visitor table, providing tours and introductions, helping people find their seats and helping with the offering. Friendly faces and helpful attitudes make all of the difference since we never get a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression.
This team reports @ 6pm to help set up the sanctuary for service, put out the signs, set up the visitor’s table, greet visitors, and provide a loving and enthusiastic space for our Wednesday night gathering. This team is also responsible for restoring the space after service at 8:15pm.
We need a core team of 10 people to anchor in excellence the special events and concerts between now and the end of the year. This team will sell tickets at the door, host the reception, help the visiting artist and a variety of other tasks.
