Cindi sang her first solo at age 5. She studied Music Education and Early Childhood in college and graduated only to teach kindergarten for 31 years. She continued her music, however, by performing in local clubs and hotels. She also worked as a pianist and soloist for local churches. She performed with several bands, including the Headliners, where she was a vocalist and keyboardist. Around 2000, she began working with Unity of the Triangle in several music positions. She served as accompanist, vocalist, and choir director of a 65 member choir. In 2014, she began sharing her music with the Triangle Center for Spiritual Living. She loves opening to Spirit to allow the perfect song to emerge.
Karen is a Raleigh based singer / songwriter who has gratefully served as the Center’s Assistant Music Director since the winter of 2014. She was drawn to music from a young age and enjoys performing regularly at the Center, cafes, weddings & other events. Additionally, she earned her master’s degree at NYU in Nonprofit Management and has followed her passion of working with underserved populations in various arenas including health, food scarcity, job preparation and youth education. Through music and compassion she hopes to help make the world a bit more joyful!
