My guru, Joseph Campbell, said “Follow your bliss.”
Easier said than done, though, right?
Besides my spiritual practice, my main three bliss areas are:
- Education: I love learning, so I’ve spent 30+ years as a professional teacher with a Masters Degree in Education. I believe education is key to creating a world that works for everyone.
- Raising My Son: For 19 years, I was blessed to both homeschool my son from birth through high school, and to serve as a Sunday School teacher in a number of New Thought religious organizations. They say if you want to learn something, teach it. Teaching these principles to young people has brought so much clarity and depth to my spirituality.
- Community: I treasure my friends and family and neighbors and, of course, our TCSL members and visitors. I am count-on-able for my communities, just as I know I can rely on them. I adore that cycle of giving AND receiving!
