We are more than just a place to intellectually learn spiritual principles, such as Oneness, Wholeness, Creativity, Abundance, Immortality, and Forgiveness. Through services, classes, workshops, and spiritual practices such as prayer, meditation, visioning, and service, we create experiential opportunities for you to embody the principles in a practical way. This workshop assists us to reframe how we view others, who may not think like we do, in the face of disagreements, especially around politics. Join us as we discover how we may inadvertently be complicit in, or possibly even encourage, polarization and what we can do about it. Braver Angels has been facilitating workshops all around the country for many, many years and like we are, affirming that a world that works for all is possible.

Our intention for the fifth Sunday of the month is to gather together as a community and offer ourselves in service. Being of service is a spiritual practice, and as always, when we practice our spiritual practices together as a community, they are heightened and expanded in ways that we can’t even imagine.
On Sunday, June 29th, we will come together as a community to assist one of our own beloved members, Deb Byrd, as she prepares her grandmother‘s home for sale.
This has been a labor of love for her as her grandmother, whom she was very close to, recently made her transition. But even a labor of love can be overwhelming.
We are being called as our community, as her community to assist her with some final tasks that need to be completed.
We will be meeting at her home at 9:30 am on Sunday, June 29th. Her address will be given to you when you sign up to volunteer. It is in SE Raleigh, near Garner.
The majority of work that we will be doing is outdoors, so please bring any rakes or shovels or wheelbarrows that you may have so that we can spread mulch, rake leaves, and any other outdoor kinds of things that need to be done.
We will also be doing some light cleaning indoors, as much of the construction work has already been completed.
We are planning to assist her from 9:30 am until 12:00 pm and then break bread somewhere together.

You don't want to miss our Annual Meditation Retreat for 2025, which will be held at the Saint Francis Springs Retreat Center. 2025 will be our 6th year at this beautiful Center. This TCSL facilitated weekend includes many types of meditations to experience and explore, time in nature, good food, sacred music and deep connection - with the Divine and with each other! It is truly a life altering experience.
